November 14th Katie Bromme came home with her energetic gelding Ari
November 3rd An ex racer called Morgan Sparrow a tall looking Tb gelding
October 21st A sweet young 2yr old Arab called Cielo with his owner Debbie arrived
October 7th Suzette a older Qtr mare ( we don't mention ages she really only 3!) moved into the barn, with Shadow generously moving across the barn to accommodate her as the only stall open was next the stallion Wings.( Suzette has since mention that she would have been happy to next to the stallion!! It was a full moon this week)
October 6th Angel left for training
Also Tripp a TB 4yr gelding moved in and to pasture
October 2nd A couple of horses arrived, originally from Alaska, Mooney a 18hand TB mare with her standard bred gelding friend "Q"
October 1st Today we extended the new aisle way thru thru the second pasture, thus creating a new paddock and better feed area for the geldings
September 29th Ann and Jim Reeves left with their horses Lady and Digger to join their other two horses at Anita's in Galt. We all will miss them as they have been a credit the stables for many years, we all wish them the best and asked them not to be strangers
September 27th Johnny moved in and on to pasture. His owner is Belle.
Also Rudy was moved out to pasture, much to his delight
September 24th Horses were moved into the new pasture on the west side of the stables. With new grass their heads have not risen for days. They did had a great delight racing thru the trees and long grass when first turned out
September 11th Angel in for a few weeks Plus Toby, a paint arrived with his owner Tom Backer
September 9th Sand was added to the main arena
August 27th Scooter arrived with her owner Paddi Sheeley of Stockton
August 22nd Thunder and lighting and rain hit us today, a great break from the dry summer, the heavy down pour was enough to wash the trees and buildings leaving everything clean
August 21st Harvey came back from "Boot Camp" and an old client , Monica stay over night with four horses on her way to a show.
August 17th Last Dressage show of the year, it was well attended, the Judge was Jan Curtis
August 9th Jocelyn left for college in Fresno with her grey gelding James Dean
July 22nd Harley left for a month for some extra training
July 13th Dressage show with Judge Creeky Rouston full day
July 8th Linda arrived from the south bay with her young gelding lucky
July 4th About 30 of us met under the shady trees next to the arena feasted well on the wonderful food, several rode their horses but we all sat and watched the wonderful firework display from Lodi Lake
July 1st The happiest lady at the stables today was Julie Damron who had been leasing big Bow finally became his owner, Congratulations Julie!
June 29th Jessica came back with her mare, Felicity after a six months
June 23rd Generieve Finally arrived all the way from New Hampshire with her gelding Uno Fancy Bandito. After a ten day trip Bandito seemed to have not missed a beat!
June 21st Robin arrived with her gelding Rudy, from Chico.
June 1st Welcome to our newest horse owner , Cindy, just purchased, a quarter horse called Harvey, she is one happy lady, after many months of looking for a horse
June 1st Nannette and I came home after a weekend of having a booth at the Horsexpo in Sac. We had a great response and look forward to helping many other horses owners and their horses. Must Say on Saturday it seemed like everyone from the Barn was there at the expo.
May 20th The hot weather is now here, after a cool April and early May. It was nice not to hear the horses moaning about the weather, these are just a few of things I hear said during the night. " nay its too hot for my hair", "With all this rain I hope I don't develop fungus in my hair, it took me all last summer to obtain the look I have."
May 6th Work continues on the expansion pasture on the west side
May 5th Jayne left and went to Jack Tone Ranch
May 4th Even after all the rain and cool weather we had a nice day for the Dressage show just as last week
May 3rd Braggers left to return to the East Bay area. Due to his improvement in his health while being here at Mar Val he is now able to be once again can be put to good use for one very happy owner.
May 2nd Gordon and Mark left with their horses for Texas for a movie shoot, they should be back in late June
April 30th Rain showers and cool temperatures will make this April one for the history books, but one can only admire the color of the roses
April 27th Mother nature was on our side today the sunny break was just enough to dry the arenas so the Delta Chapter could have their show
April 2nd An old friend and client moved back, Jennifer with Odyssey
March 30th Cheryl and her appy mare Megan arrived
March 12th Cindi moved in with her filly Laci

Feb 26th Simon left for the day to visit the ER at the local medical building. A great place for a nap. Room service was lacking on the beer front though.
Feb 1st Shadow arrived with Mary. Mary has waited quite a while to come here and we are glad she finally made it
Jan 25th Bully left for a training barn in Livermore to be sold
Jan 19th Thrill was sold, much to the thr... of his owner
Jan 16th Reba finally convinced her owner that living in the pasture would be the best for her
Jan 15th Jayne returned with Doby and Etask
Jan 12th Nan and Simon found a loveable pup called Basil at the SPCA
